With the COVID-19 situation improving across Washington State and most of the US it’s nice to start seeing some hints of normalcy coming back. I was able to go to a bar this past weekend with some friends for example. The bar wasn’t allowed to be above 75% occupancy but it was way better than not being able to go to the bar at all like this time last year. As the summer gets going I’m hoping the Washington State Governor sticks to his June 30th reopening date for businesses in the state. Far too many restaurants and bars, other businesses and jobs have been lost during this COVID disaster and it’s critical that we get back to working on recovering from this pandemic as soon as possible to try to turn the economic tide as much as possible for those worst impacted.
I hope you are all doing good and staying safe. Get vaccinated if you can and make sure to stay safe if you can’t/chose not to get vaccinated. – Tom
